Juvederm Vollure
Class: Hyaluronic acid-based soft tissue filler.
Approved cosmetic uses: Correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as smile lines, in adults older than 21. Vollure is the newest member of the Juvederm family of fillers which includes Voluma XC for cheeks and Volbella for lips.
Mode of Action: Vollure replenishes hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in almost every cell in the body. Our stores decrease with advancing age.
Results: Visible within about 18 months, which is signifcantly longer than other wrinkle fillers. Vollure is made with VYCROSS™ technology, a manufacturing process that results in a smoother gel that flows easily and consistently.
Possible Side Effects: Temporary injection swelling, tenderness, bruising, firmness lumps/bumps, redness, pain, discoloration, and itching. Most of these resolve within one week.
